176 Visa Grant Today

I would like to let you know the time it took to get our PR visas for Australia, I applied as a bricklayer and was sponsored by SA
Application sent to DIAC on 4/12/08
Applied for state sponsorship SA 30/09/09
Approved SS 3/11/09
CO Officer 27/7/10 and request for medicals and PCC's
Medicals Received OHC 02/09/10
Medicals finalised 14/10/10
Visas Granted 20/10/10
We still cant believe it, such a good feeling after a bit of a wait, all the best to all applying and Good Luck

I believe it is a year from when we got our medicals done, so our initial entry date is 09/08/2011, hope this helps

yeah, in all my excitement, I thought it was October, it was 20/09/10 for visa grant and medicals were finalised 14/09/10.
