Her partner sponsored her as a defacto however she says she's a PR in her own right now. Would she not beable to sponsor if she was only a defacto? Another question as a defacto on my partners 176 it says I need to demonstrate proficient English, how wud I go about this? Will cert copys of my GCSE results do?

Thanks

Being a de facto wouldn't stop her sponsoring, as long as she has PR now
Beyond that you need someone more up on the rules of a 176 though I'm afraid! Having come on a spouse visa myself I'm OK on that stuff, but not so up on the Skills side of it - same for the IELTS bit.

So she wouldn't beable to sponsor if she was still a de facto? What's involved in becoming a PR in your own right once you are in OZ as a de facto?

Thanks again
