Default 175 With 115 points

He there, we are now in the waiting portion of the process and have done the following.
Successful TRA
Submitted 176 SS to WA first without 175 TRN
Submitted 175 with 115 points, got a TRN
Booked IELTS for 7 weeks from TRN Date
Applied to a couple companies direct through their website recruitment
On the off chance of an employer sponsored 176

We are on the MODL list
We are on the WAOIDL list
We are hoping to get either sponsored by state or employer as the news as of late suggests a 176 is all that will get prioritized.

Safin's post here
http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...=602962&page=2

Pretty much describes how we're going about it. Feeling like we're running out of time, it's -8C with 40km winds and 10cm snow today, it's +33 in Perth.
Could anyone, or Safin, please advise on the timeline between TRN and CO?
Finally time between CO, 176 SS and visa approval?
Thanks very much, great place here much pertinent info

No-one can give you an accurate timeline because they are hanging all the time. I suggest you have a read of http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=642183 if you are SS 176, as thats the best you'll get

There is no such thing as an employer sponsored 176. If you get an employer then you either ask them to be patient whilst your application is processed or they have to sponsor you for a different visa. A 176 visa is either state sponsored or family sponsored.

As for timeline it just varies too much and is changing a lot as Pollyana says. You also have not mentioned what occupation you are in which is very relevant to processing times (i.e. CSL, MODL?).

Sorry left the Subclass 121/ 856 out of last post for employer sponsored. Point is we're trying every avenue except the 875 provisional for now...unless there's reason out there to suggest otherwise. Thanks for the tips.
