136 mod visa to temp visa

136 mod visa to temp visa
hi every one
quick quiz : on the 3rd august the application for a 136 MODL Perm visa was delivered as yet i haven't received confirmation (hopefully within next 2 weeks ?????).problem .I have had a job offer and they want me to come out on a 457 temp Visa within the next 2 months how do i tell the department of change of plan ,do i have too stop the other for the time being
hope someone can assist

the problem is how do go about keeping the 136 visa going and apply for temp one to start work and can i ???
