1022 help please, confused.
Hi all,
We got our med requests at the beginning of this week along with form 1022, which I'm guessing needs filling in and sending back even if there's no change in circumstances.
What is confusing us is that on the letter that came with the forms it states "the information in this letter applies to the following persons- me, my hubby Steve and our daughter Libby"
then in form 1022 under 'details of other applicants' it says "Do you have a spouse and/or any dependants who are/were included in your application?"
So with the letter addressing just the 3 of us, is it just our details they need or do we mention my hubbys other daughter from previous that's not migrating. She was included in the main app but a stat dec was sent as there is no contact so we can't provide medicals, DIMIA accepted the stat dec. (We have a phone number but no address, and ex refuses to speak to us.)
We keep going over and over the info we recieved from DIMIA and really don't know what to do, she was mentioned in the application so do we put her in or not as she's not addressed on the letter.

Hi Marie
Its just a formality in filling the form 1022. If there are no change in circumstances just fill in no changes.
I think you need to mention the spouse as well as the kids information.
We also sent the form 1022 couple of weeks ago even though we don't have kids yet
Cheers

This is just my opinion, but I would fill in the 1022 with all the names of the people who were on the application and just say no changes. I would think that if she was on the main app then you probably should include her on the 1022. As Badri says though, 1022 is probably just a formality if nothing has changed. It seemed like a bit of a waste of time to fill it in if nothing has changed, but they wanted it filled in...
Cheers,
Brian

If there are, indicate what the changes are, if there are no changes, fill in the form as completely as possible and indicate "no changes in circumstances" in the approriate fields.
