[NZ] Job seeker visa, what then?
Hi.
At the moment me and my wife are waiting for (hopfully) being granted a job
seeker visa for me. I know, we will move after our medical tests expires
(ie. after more the 3 months from the time they were taken). Can the test
be later taken in NZ? Is there any list of doctors, that can carry the
procedure? And what's the cost?
The second questions regards the PR issuing process. We won't get PR now as
we lack points. IN such case is the application rejected or suspended till
I find suitable job offer? We lodged our application to London's NZIS. Will
we have to send the rest of documents to London, or any local NZIS will do?
regards

Your PR application is suspended (ie 'on hold') for the duration of your 6 month work visa. If you fail to get a job in this time, it lapses. If you get an appropriate job, you simply complete the PR process and can do this in any NZ NZIS office, just give them your name nd reference number. Ie you now only need to provide evidence of the job offer and comply with health and character requirements, since you have already been assessed as having enough points to get PR as long as you get an appropriate job.
Cheers - Don
