Default [NZ] How long ....

Hi.

We lodged our application for PR on 23th December via courier to London.
Today I spotted that my credit card was debited on Friday (03/01/03) by
NZIS. Is there any connection beetwen the time card is debited and
processesing of application? Do they charge on the arrival of documents,
during processing, or after they get through the forms? Or perhaps there is
no simple connection at all?
After all, we are short for PR (hoping for JSV), but how long can it take to
receive any response from them?

best regards
przemko

Hi,
My guess is that you should expect a letter from NZIS soon - mine was sent two days after lodgement, took one month to get delivered.

Cheers,
Georgi

You will get verification that your application has been received and is
awaiting processing within a few days. They will tell you that they will be
back in contact with in 2 months. There does seem to be a backlog at London,
I have received my 2nd letter saying they will be back in touch with in 2
months. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait, the best things are worth waiting
for and it pays to have time to reflect on your future intensions.
