Need some advise on the bond timing. As i understand the bond is required for 12 months, and you lodge this prior to your yellow envelope. Does the clock start ticking once you have submitted your bond, or only when you arrive in Aus. The reason i ask is we antisipate not moving to Aus straight away after we have been granated our Visa's, as we want to go when their new summer starts next year. If we manage to lodge the bond in Feb next year and leave to Aus in september, does this mean we have only 5 months to go before we can get the money back?.

It is one year from the date of lodgement. NOT one year from your
first entry in to Australia. ( This is based on of my Certificate of
Inscription from WATC)

Yep, 12 months from lodging the dosh.
