Default $100K Bond for 5 points - when to submit? Applied April 30, 2004

Dear friends,

I had applied on 13 April 04. Med/PCCs were requested in Jan05. Med
submitted in Jan05 and PCC (from 3 countries) submitted on 25 Feb 05.
There has been no contact from DIMIA after that.

I assume we are all healthy though the doctor had refused to divulge
the contents of the medical report saying all of it is confidential
and meant only for DIMIA. So, I can say that I really do not know the
results of my med though PCCs were ALL clear.

1. Is this the right time NOW to submit $100K Bond which I need for
additional 5 points to make the cut-off of 115points applicable before
April 14, 04?

2. or Do we have to neccesarrily wait for a REQUEST from DIMIA?

3. How can we get the Form 1134 which needs to be submitted to DIMIA
by the Treasury?

4. Can we now start to follow-up with the case officer since more than
52 weeks have elapsed? How to make a telephone call? or just send an
e-mail?

Thanks for all you help and if anyone has any other questions you can
PM me and I will answer it or you may post it here.

Regards

David

Hi David,

You can't initiate the bond without the form which will be issued to you by your case officer. I would certainly bug the case officer now, this delay is outside their service charter. Unless, that is, they're checking your documentation. Email case officer using the pattern [email protected] .

Cheers,

George Lombard
