Hi
You are correct in what you say,
but the Uni of Salford will not send a copy of the transcript to
yourself. I've a message on my phone stating this! Although it seems
like this is the easy way of completing the process.

I don't think that a lot of nurses have noticed that :-

If you look at the ANC application form, check list closely the only
document it asks for from other parties it the confirmation of Nursing
registration from the Nursing and Midwifery council!

It does not say that the nurse transcript has to be receved from the
college or Uni of training.

So after all the confusion your method is the answer but how do you
achieve this?

hope we can solve this!
Dee

Hi Dee

I would be inclined to send ANC applicartion off when you have asked the NMC to provide verification and as Claire says get as many copies of documents as you can.

Just one thing though, Could I send my ANC application form at any
time while the rest of the process is on going?

Thanks for your help
Dee

    >Hi Dee
    >Yes I agree it is very confusing but I think that it works like this.
    >Get the Uni of Salford to send your transcripts directly to the ANC and
    >also to the nursing board in the state/territory in which you intend to
    >work ie WA - Nurses Board of Western Australia.
    >Ask for verification pack from NMC(has to be done online).

    >When it arrives after approx 7-10 days complete the form .You can ask
    >them to provide verification to ANC and up to 4 other nursing boards if
    >you wish.This costs £34.
    >Download skills assessment form from the ANC.
    >Complete and send off with payment ,all necessary documentation and a
    >covering letter explaining where your trancripts are be being sent from
    >and also that you have asked the NMC to provide details of verification
    >that you are on the register.
    >I think thats about it.
    >I hope that I haven't forgot anything
    >Best of luck with your application

Morning Bowks,
I'd ask them why they won't send you the transcripts and reiterate the fact that it isn't necessary for them to send the transcript direct to the ANC. Tell them that you need a copy anyway to send in with your visa application.
If it comes down to it phone the NMC and ask for their advice.
Sorry I can't help anymore.
