Hi,
I don't think we are being fast tracked. Looking at Timeline, others
in the Skilled Designated Area Sponsored are receiving requests for
more information after approx 6 months (eg Rossi & Kwychang). They
haven't mentioned police checks and medicals being requested as well
but I imagine they have been asked for those too. I wasn't expecting
to hear so soon as we were told 50 weeks. I applied for the police
checks the day before the envelope from Adelaide arrived requesting
them and Surrey Police told me it would take up to 8 weeks so it is
definately worth getting your requests in now. I rang the Doctor for
medicals for our area and have managed to get an appointment for the
end of the month.

I'm really excited and thrilled that someone is actually looking at
our application but aware that it could still take quite a few months.
We have been asked to get all the information to them by 21 Feb so
I'll let you know what happens next. We are being sponsored by a
relative in Melbourne - I don't know if area has any impact on
processing.
