Working Holiday Advice

Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of taking up a working holiday visa and wanted to asked a few questions. I am 29, turning 30 in a few months. If I applied now can I activate my visa next year when I am 30?

Secondly, how long is the working holiday visa valid for. In other words, if I was granted one in October, 2014 could I travel to New Zealand in September, 2015 ( a year later).

Finally, how easy (if I am viable in the labour market) to convert a working holiday visa into a full time work permit to remain in New Zealand after my year of work has expired.

No need to go into lots of detail, I just wanted a few ideas at present.

Warm Regards
James
