Work visa, medicals & PR

New Zealand Medical & PR

Hi my husband has just arrived in NZ on a 12 month work visa, and started work last week. We are in the process of completing the sponsorship forms for me, does anyone know how long this will take?

Then wewill submit the paperwork for PR. We have just completed out police and medical checks. But I have been told I have Type 2 Diabetes and will be referred to my GP. Will this affect my chances of getting PR?

Thanks in advance.

they may ask for more evidence but I wouldn't be to concerned about it.
as he is on a temp work visa? are you not just going to submit your EOI/ITA now or is that what you are talking about?
