Question Work permit in NZ

Hi All,

At present I am working in Indian Information Technology Company as Software Quality Analyst having ^ years of experience.

My client had sent a letter for sponsoring me a job and thus my Indian Company is applying my work permit.

I got to know from my colleagues that NZ work permit requirement is same as that of USA L1 VISA i.e. special IT skill is required.
Since I am Quality Assurance Tester and Testing is a common field may I know is this a case of concern?
what steps I should take for my visa to get approved.

Regards,
Rahul

you would need to check out http://www.immigration.govt.nz/ to see if your skill set is required in the country and that you have the necessary qualifications under that skilled set as requested on the immigration site

software analyst is on the list of skilled occupation and long term skill shortage list but you do need to have certain qualifications. coming from India you will have to see if any of the qualifications you may have have been earned at a qualifying establishments.

please make yourself familiar with the immigration site Skill Shortage List Checker – Immigration New Zealand

Question Re: Work permit in NZ

hi MrsFychan,

Now my company had applied for work visa for 6 months and thus I had appeared for required medical test.
But somehow now results are further getting analyzed by NZ authority.

As per my manager NZ authority have stated that in my blood RBC count is having some issue and they will take sometime in getting back to me.

My question by reading on internet I got to know NZ govt give medical waiver to immigrants so shall i also believe that they will pass me in medical test and thus provide required stamp.

Regards,
Rahul

sorry no idea. we are not immigration advisor's, nor will we know what the issue with the blood tests are or what they will require you to do about it. I am a little surprised you need a medical for a 6mth visa but as I do not know what visa you are getting or a visa applied for by your company I am ill informed to advise any further.

Don't believe everything you read on the net! Seen as though nz immi have a problem with your red blood cell count it seems, I can't see how you're bypassing the system that easily. We're all immigrants and have to pass the medical.

I await your immediate response [snipped]
