WHV Questions

Hi,

I'm currently looking into applying for a WHV as a way to escape the UK for a while.

I had a Canadian work visa last year but had to cut short my trip due to a family emergency, have now been interrailing and want to continue travelling and exploring.

Just had a couple of questions.

1. I saw on another thread someone mention they had a 3 month window in which to arrive in NZ, is this the same for a WHV or just a specific residency Visa?

2. Whats the job situation like? I've mainly done bar work, retail, customer service, admin roles, in the past but am open to trying my hand at anything

3. Where would be best to move to, looking at Auckland right now but tempted by Queenstown as well, not sure if this would have more/less job opportunities as its a bit more touristy of sorts

Thanks in advance
Dan

Cheers, couldn't see that info on the pages I was looking on earlier. So its the same as Canada, once granted I have 12 months to land.

Any ideas on the other 2?
