I am planning on going to NZ at the end of august from the states. I will be living in Auckland and am currently filling out the work holiday visa. should i send it now if im not leaving til august how do I know when my time in NZ begins, or does the 1 year just begin when I land in NZ?

Most visa's have a last date by which you must enter, the period of the visa starting whenever you actually enter, some visa's also state a firm end date by which you must leave.
