when does a work visa start 'running' form
Hey.
Currently in NZ on a work visa, landed at end of Jan. Struggling to work out (though hoping I won't need it) what the expiry date of my work visa will be. Visa just says arrive before jan 2009 and work for up to 12 months (strange I asked for a two year!).
Passport control simply stamped my passport with "purpose of visa" with 6 months stamped on it. These guys don't make anything stright forward do they
If it does in fact run out in 6 months how do I extend it?
The visa is to work for a specific company in a specific role.
