Wellington living costs
 

Hi all

Myself and my family arrivein wellington on the 29th October. We initially have rented a holiday apartment until we can find a rental property. What I need to know is the cost of living in and around wellington. things like utility bills, contents insurance etc. this will help us decide what we can afford in weekly rent.

There are 5 of us in total, 2 adults and 3 children and at present we have no idea what things like telephone/broadband/gas/electic utilities cost on a monthly basis

any assistant or information greatly appreciated.

I went there a few weeks ago. I think it's about the same as Auckland. around 8-11nzd per a plate of meal. However, rent can be slightly cheaper.
