Are we breaking the law on this forum?

In view of the issues highlighted in this article, are we in danger of breaking the law by offering advice on this forum?

Personally I try not to say 'my advice is' but rather restrict myself to factual statements of perosnal experiences with the caveat of..."your experience might differ'....

...what they are trying to avoid is applications to NZIS which say 'I read that,......" or "I was advised that ......"

Oh and I always try to steer people to the NZIS site as a starter....
