hi, we too were selected on the 12/08/09 and as yet not even successful:(
its so frustrating as this is second time around for us and last time we were selected then successful within a week an ITA followed 4 weeks later. Just our luck now we want it to happen quickly it wont:confused:

Welcome to the journey that is immigration :D By the end of the trip you will have patience that any saint would be proud of, no hair or nails mind you. Oh and you may need to register with your local Alcohols Anom now :rofl:

Unless you have a job offer, preferrably from an accrediated employer, you could linger in the pool for a while. So begins the patience test.......

Good Luck ;)

One way to avoid 'Immigration finger' is to keep yourselves occupied. A good way to do this is to help a healthy addication to BE is by giving yourselves an avatar. :p This is the small pictures you see under usernames. Mine is a Pukeko.

Looking forward to seeing these appear and meanwhile have some BE karma from me for your Immigration Finger syndrome. :D

Now you have to start running around like a headless chuck, hemorrhaging cash as you go.
We are only a little bit in front of you.
good luck to you all, :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed: hope to see you soon - on the other side.

Re: waiting for ITA

You are right about the cash front.... what with medicals/EOI/ITA/Nursing Reg for my OH/Police checks, plus factor the cost of selling our property, I reckon it will come close to 10k by the time we get to NZ. That's with shipping stuff over of course.
