Visa Refusal in Australia Affects my NZ application?

Good day everyone! I apologize if I posted this in the wrong thread.

My name is Jhay and I currently have had a visa refus in Australia because apparently my previous employer had a problem with taxation and the Australian immigration thought it was my responsibility and my employer was not liable for it eventhough they gave their court order and statutory declaration I still got my visa refusal and ultimatrly has a 3 yeat exclusion period from the country.

My question is I currently have a pending application to New Zealand and my employer is sponsoring me a visa but I am a bit skeptical as I am thinking that my visa refusal from Australia might affect my visa application in New Zealand even though I disclose everything. Does anyone here had the same situation as me? Please help. Thanks for reading.

I am pretty sure there will be some kind of declaration question you need to complete on any immigration application which asks if you have been refused or denied access to another country.

Almost certainly you will not be granted any visa or permitted to enter NZ if you have been excluded entry to Australia.

Is that really the case? Even though you haven’t been excluded yet and still onshore in Australia as I did made an appeal for my case.

Surely it would depend on the individual situation?
