Things to get early? (criminal check, birth certificate, etc)
Hi,
I may be emigrating to NZ over the next few months. Just waiting for an internan job offer to arise.
Short of full out applying what things should I gather so I am prepared? I already have
Criminal check (2 months old)
Copies of Degree and transcript
Anything else that I will need and should start putting togehter now?

Skilled immigrant? I'm an IT professional.
I will likely have a job offer before applying but would probably get a visa that is not linked to this (if that makes sense? I don't want to be locked into an employer).

dont quote me on this but i think you have to be tied in with an employer for a certain length of time no matter what type of work visa it is.
