telling your employer of plans

Hi does anyone know if immigration NZ contact your present employer about immigration plans, either on EOI or ITA as my daughter is going to submit her application soon but doesnt want her present employer to know yet?

Hi there,

All I can say is that they didn't contact my employer even though it wouldn't have made a difference, he knew all about my plans;)
I don't know whether there are some situations when they do contact your present employer though.

I was asked to provide a letter stating where I worked, what my position was and how long I had worked there. I think that was at the ITA stage. I applied for a PR Visa, going in as a skilled migrant.
