Default Start EOI when in NZ

Hi All

Whats the general concensus,
I am travelling over on 6 November and starting work on 18th November - shall I wait until I am IN New Zealand before submitting our EOI ?

Does it make any difference?

It shouldn't make any difference, I don't think there would be a problem with changing the branch you apply to mid application.

Things like medicals would be cheaper in NZ, sorry I can't remember what visa you've applied for and whether you've already done medicals Getting old!
If you've already done medicals then they last for 36months so you wouldn't have to repeat them.

Only reason to wait could be if you have a lot on your plate with the move and don't want to be dealing with the ITA at this point in time That's something only you can decide

I have a work exchange visa for 12 months I just worried about my partner going in on a tourist visa and it taking a long time for residency to process.

I have a feeling I am over thinking but I'd hate to encounter problems

I would look at the time scales between UK doing the major work and NZ doing it it.

We submitted all our ITA paperwork in UK at the end of Oct and had the final approval at the of January, when people talk about NZ shutting down for Christmas and January they mean it, we then got the case transferred to NZ for them to put the visa's in the passports, that took roughly 2 weeks.

Our CO only worked 4 days a week. not sure if that is the case with everyone.
