Skills assessment

For Australian immigration, I would need a skills assessment. I'm a Computing/IT guy. So I would need Aus Computer Society assessment.

I can't immediately see what I need to get for NZ immigration. Any helpers??

Thanks

Re: Skills assessment

NZ immigration work on experience and qualifications, your experience needs to ideally be in a comparable labour market and your qualifications may need assessing depending on what they are and where they were obtained.

Re: Skills assessment

Check under 'recognised qualifications' on the INZ website on the right hand side when you go onto the skilled migrant category page. This will tell you whether you need to get your qualifications assessed by NZQA or not.

Also have a look under the 'essential skills in demand' lists to see what you need in order to claim bonus points- IT is on the Long term skills shortage list.

Simonsi mentioned comparable labour markets- these can be found listed in the EOI guide- look under forms and guides.
Hope this helps
