On a WTR visa you will be able to access hospital treatment if needed. Doctors appts etc are pay per visit.
If you have over the 140 points for a SMC it is an automatic pull from the EOI pool. Once all info verified NZIS will then consider your ability to settle.
So there may be an interview about this and you offered a job search visa instead of straight residency.
Of course if you have a job offer, you'd gain straightforward residency.
With the WTR it will need to be an accredited employer.
Up to you.
