Same happened with me, a confirmation email that time and then error followed few hours later. I checked my application status

I just need to confirm if this is common with ALL of us who received the error email from INZ
- An unsuccessful payment attempt (mine were three and i received the email once only)
- The application status (As above)
- No payment reversal with the bank yet.

I have a suspicion that they have decided to limit the initial number of places due to high unemployment rate within NZ. Read this http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-0...e-2010-1-.html
In regards to trading standards, I don't think they are governed by trading standards practises as they are a government department but I am very sure they have their very own QA unit that one can write to.
As for rejecting the application once it has been submitted must be accompanied by a valid reason and as long as you comply with all the outlined requirements there is nothing they could do reject an application.

Many people here stated that the scheme is full in 2 min. In my case I got the message to pay within 15 seconds but once when I clicked the payment it took nearly 5 or 6 min and accepted my payment and got the receipt around 3.41 am
my time (NZ time 10.11 AM). I hope all the people who got their "error" message later on will get through on Monday. All the best Guys!

There are many numbers to confused about. There are different client numbers... Then the Application number for online application... There is also pending application number... Receipt number... I'm confused too

We can only wait to see what happens on Monday. I have emailed in a complaint asking whats going on to the deputy chief executive which it says to do in the complaints procedure. (found under the 'contact us' option on the online application, then top left corner 'complaints')
I plan to wait and see what comes of it next week and then perhaps contacting these people are an option for them to investigate officially:
