lets keep a common ground to fight on - i would like to know as to why they kept our money for three days and have not provided any service - i refuse to invest in any place where i cannot expect something back... NZ accepted our money irrespective of a system error now they must provide us the service for the money accepted... if required i dont mind hiring a solicitor...

At 10.10 n still got a place … wow thats an interesting improvement
That’s why I’m insisting to ask them the details where you stand in the queue and your transaction timing so you can compare that with the person at 300th place or in this case if somebody is approved at 10.10 then where he stands in the queue and what’s the difference between you n him… all these info will help us making a point to fight for.

That’s why I’m insisting to ask them the details where you stand in the queue and your transaction timing so you can compare that with the person at 300th place or in this case if somebody is approved at 10.10 then where he stands in the queue and what’s the difference between you n him… all these info will help us making a point to fight for.

Actually I just started following this forum.
I was applying on behalf of my wife and we were successfull.
She hasn't yet received any mails regarding rejection, after the first successful application mail, so we believe we are currently through.

In my case I made sure I had the application open 5 mins before 10 am !! And exactly when the new Zealand immi website indicated it was 10 !! I quickly selected the continue option !! And it took me a good 2-3 mins to open the next page where I had to tick few boxes and then I proceeded to the payment screen which again took 2-3 mins to appear !!
Eventually when I put in my card details , it dint take long to process payment !! Thankfully!! An by 10 10 I got my reference and payment details , althought I shocked to learn that a lotta people whose payment went at 10 10 !! Got a rejection email from nz immi which is pretty disheartening!! But thanks to the almighty I haven't received a rejection mail !!
So keep your eyes and ears open to the dates and timings an the final tip would be to make sure u have a good Internet connection !!

Being an IT professional I can say that ‘Technical Error’ can be handled in a number of ways to cut down applicants. As their beforehand set condition failed to stop transactions there are possibilities that while monitoring they saw number exceeding 300 and then they may have forcefully stopped the system at that time and if that’s the case system may have gone in a more unreliable state.
Afterwards next question is what’s the exact criteria they have applied to cut down to 300. If it’s not just the transaction time what else matters in deciding who gets in earlier. These technical details are important.
