Seperatation after Residency

Hi,

I was granted PR Last year under the skilled migrant section. My partner, was granted as well as we were classed as Defacto.

We have been in NZ for under 1 year, and now split up - Does this effect her at all? She has a separate permit in her passport etc.. so would assume no, but wanted to check.

My understanding is once you have PR, NZ Immigration is not interested if you split up...

Sorry to hear about the split though!! You guys can't work it out??

I was under the same impression as Matewx, as long as you have PR NZIS are not interested in your domestic situation.
