Section 18A
Hi All,
Hope someone can help us!
I know there was a thread somewhere answering this question but I have searched BE and cant find it.
We have a section 18A on our visa which says "Holder must take up offer of employment within three months of granting permit and remain in that employment for at least three months."
We have done this!
How do we get this Section 18A removed?
Any replies greatly appreciated.

We have same thing on ours... there was a load of bumpf that came with that booklet on NZ on how to do it so will check it out for u.... think you can just send in payslips to prove it but like I say will double check.

and been told to send our passports to the immigration office in Hamilton.
with a letter asking for section 18a to be removed
Along with a letter from work stating you have been employed for three months
and a bank statement showing wages have been paid in regular
also a bill or a tenancy agreement with you name and address on
We sent these documents off last week
we were told it would take up to two weeks to complete
the removal of section 18a

Will get onto it straight away.
