Secondary Applicant Spouse Visa PR
 

Hi There, I came to New Zealand on spouse visa (work permit) as my wife is a student in one of the universities here.

She is an primary applicant and me the secondary. My question, within NZ immigration law, can I (Secondary applicant) apply PR on the basis of my IT job that I got.

Any details on this would be appreciated.

if the job fits the criteria then yes you can, and your wife can get a visa off the back of your application. Just make sure that the job fits the criteria as the rules changed earlier this month.
