Default renewing tempory work visa

when you have two , renew your temp work visa is it just like starting out again, or do you just have to do medicals police ect, ours runs out in september this year we only have one year visa, and would like to renew for one more year

It is governed by what you are applying for, not what you have already had previously. So if you want a 1-yr permit then you´ll need to supply docs to support that, from memory I think you´ll need to supply one but not the other but you can check on the NZIS website as the qualifying periods for which you have to supply medicals and police certs is different IIRC.

Renewing a year at a time pretty much maximises the aggravation and expense but I think I remember why you´ve had to do it.
