Remaining passport time for Skilled Migrant Visa
 

Hi All,

Does anyone know what the rules are for a Skilled migrant Visa application with regards to how much time is required to be remaining on ones passport?

If it coming up for renewal do it whilst you are in the UK as it costs a lot to renew in NZ and then you have to pay to have the visa's transferred

A2.5 Criteria for acceptable travel documents

in the case of people coming to New Zealand temporarily, valid either:
for at least 3 months beyond the date they intend to depart; or
for one month beyond the date they intend to depart, if the issuing government has consular representation in New Zealand that is able to issue and renew travel documents.
