Having just glanced through my ITA paperwork the only thing that just out is that they seem to think that a 'proper' birth cert has the names of both parents on. Now ours don't is this a problem??

Seems like a visit to NZIS offices is in store for you. Take what you have to NZIS and run it up the flagpole and see if they salute.

You can get hold of a proper one via internet order and £7 + postage. Obviously that isn't quite so easy from NZ as the UK but not insurmountable.

Cheers for that. I can get them sent over for about 15 quid, just seems strange that I've managed the rest of my life without needing to have my mam and dads name on it. Ho hum more money..
