go to www.nzis.govt.nz

There you will find jobs that are on the skills shotage list. I reckon yours will be but I think you will have to show you have all the correct exp. and quals. Good luck.

Cabinet Maker - Skilled occupation 394111

Please have a browse of the New Zealand Immigration website about the Skilled Migrant Category. click the links

Then try the POINTS INDICATOR to see how many points you might be able to claim for.
The minimum is 100 but it is a case of the more points the better.

To claim points for the trade skill, you will need to be able to show you have been trained , as in C&G / NVQ standards etc. NZ will want them to match their own trade qualifications.

When trying out the points indicator , please note that Cabinet Makers are not currently considered in shortage here in New Zealand, so you will not be able to claim points for 'absolute shortage'.

This possibly means you would need an NZ job offer to make up enough points. When considering that, please note that as there is not currently a shortage of cabinet makers in New Zealand. That means that an New Zealand employer would have to prove that there is no NZ resident or citizen that could take the job or be trained for that work.

Anyway, do the points indicator. Have a look around the job sites like Trade Me, Seek etc..
