The PR journey starts again

So, having been through the emotional turmoil, the extreme home-sickness, the stress etc and lots and lots and lots of good stuff too over the past 12 months in NZ, we finally decided that we think we want to stay in NZ, certainly at least for longer than our current 2yr work permits which expire in September 2011.

Rather than attempt to renew our work permits each year, PR is where it's at!

So, on Tuesday we submitted our EOI (Again!), and yesterday it was selected (Again!).

We're now officially back on the PR journey and eagerly awaiting the arrival of the ITA.

:fingerscrossed:

By the time we started the PR application last time, we were already in NZ, but we had such a horrendous christmas that we decided to just go for 2yr work permits instead.

It is less stressful this time around, but that's probably more to do with our own state of mind than anything else. :-)

Hello you two.

I remember our final days counting down to the flight very well. We wish you all the very best for the exciting journey ahead of you!

There will indeed be the Ups and Downs to deal with and get through... possibly a few knocks along the way too, but hey, it comes right in the end.

If you ever find yourselves passing our way, give us a shout!
