we,re planning on going over sept /oct .
when should we actually apply for our police checks to get done. what month?
we are going as tourists and planning getting meds done over there.
should we get letters from our docs here and take them with us as well?

when do you advise applying for the police checks. Would it be when my OH recieves his job offer, I see you said the checks are coming back in about 3 weeks. Would we do the medicals aswell when job offer is recieved. Sorry if these are odvious questions I am asking, but have been concentrating on getting that all important job offer, havn't had to think about the other things yet.
We are dealing with comapny called chrysalis recruitment, anyone else dealt with them or heard of them?

If you do a google on your local police force and then do a search on their site for Data Protection, you should find what you're looking for. This is what my local force one looks like

Hi Marika,
If my memory serves me right our area is covered by Exeter. I'm at work at the moment but may find all our stuff this evening. Medicals and x-rays are done at the Nuffield Hospital and the Stannary Clinic in Tavistock.. I'll find you the links when I get home.
