Police check
Hi
Family of 4 have visited NZ a few times now and are looking to take that big step next year, what's the time scale on your police check, once you've done your check.
Other half wanted me to do mine first as I had a caution, all ok no trace
Kind regards nick

Re: Police check
The certificate can be up to six months old but you then need a new one. The Immigration NZ web page at:
Police Certificate
says
Police Certificate
says
Procedures
Police certificates must be less than six months old when the application is lodged.
We may ask for further police certificates if the initial police certificate becomes a year old from its date of issue before we make a decision on your application; or within the 12-month period if there is good reason to do so.

As Hazelnut says 6 mths but really no point paying out for things to be done until you know you have an Invitation To Apply as you may just be wasting money.
