Please help!... recommend a removals firm?
 

Hi,

We are emigrating to Whangarei in 2 weeks! Please can anyone recommend a cheap, reliable removals firm in Yorkshire/ Lancashire areas
of UK to transport our possessions. We need a 20 foot container.

Hi there,
I was only transporting 72 cu ft from Darlington and used PSS. I phoned round all the main companies and some local ones from the Yellow Pages and got quotes. Went with PSS as they gave me an overall quote door to door and that was the whole amount. The others gave me a price but then there was £x per box and per mile added on both ends and various other unknown extras. There would not have been much difference in cost anyway and I preferred to know how much right from the start. It should be easier to get quotes for a container I would have thought:unsure:
