personal trainer qualifications

Trying to find out if anyone has ever had their personal trainer qualifications assessed by the NZQA and if they were recognised in New Zealand.

I know in the UK a level 3 equates to A-level/NVQ 3 standard but seeking information on whether a CYQ level 3 would be recognised out in NZ.

Thanks

Do you mean a fitness instructor? I can't see this occupation on the list of occupations seen as skilled. See HERE

I'd suggest a CYQ would need an NZQA assessment .

We've had a couple of sports coaches pass by but don't recall fitness instructor.

I had a level six in shouting at 'orrible lickle men and telling them to give me fifty.
Didn't get any points......:(
