Bit of a question here,
we are gonna submit our appliciations in person for 1 year visas - at the NZ house in London.

The thing is we are going to Florida at the end of November and are worrying now that our passports won't be back in time! Is there a way of applying with photocopied passports or fasttracking their return in time for the holidays?? We are due to fly to Auckland mid January so could always wait until we return from Florida beofer applying, which would be mid December and cutting it fine though!

Anyone else been in this situation?

I'm not sure how things work in NZ House there in London, but here in the Christchurch office of NZIS the last time (2005) we did temporary work permits we were able to have the visas and permits pasted into our passports in the same afternoon as we applied.

I'll have to check it out in advance which means another trip to London and a ticket from the meat counter
