Passport renewal
 
Hey helpful people,

I'm just starting the EOI.
My passport runs out Sep 2012 -- should I get it renewed now, or is that ok? It won't last for the full two years of probationary PR (the two years you have to be there before you can get indefinite return visa).

My advice is to renew first, you can transfer the remaining valid time of visas and permits to a new passport but there are further fees and forms involved.

Do it now.....you get up to 9 months added on new passport so its valid 10yrs 9mths.
