Partnership Visa for UK citizen - bit confused

Re: Partnership Visa for UK citizen - bit confused
Getting a certified copy of a passport is easy. Go to a solicitor with a photocopy of it and ask them to certify it. I paid 2pound 5 years ago [and in London!] so it shouldn't be expensive. Phone around for costs.
If it is for NZIS then a normal solicitor should be ok, I needed a notary public for my registration and they were very expensive[/QUOTE]
Oops sorry Peresphone, just seen you answered my question

As I'm now applying for a temporary partnership based visa, I am confused as to whether I need to supply a birth certificate. Does anyone know?

Apparently no birth cert needed. Just called the £1p/m hotline...
