partner's english ability

Hi All,

I'm new to this NZ forum

our EOI is appoved and we received invitation letter. now planning to submit ITA.

we claimed points for partner's qualification and need to know whether partner need to submit IELTS results

she has done her degree in English langauge and we confused whether that is enough to prove her English ability which we already stated in EOI

Please let me know your comments on this.

thanks in advance

Re: partner's english ability

Usually they send a list of documents they need in order to process the ITA.
I would contact NZIS about this. Common sense would say that if the degree was in English language then that should be acceptable in order to gain your partner's bonus points BUT immigration doesn't always work that way and could still request an IELTS result. I would double check with those in the know as to whether or not she will need to do this.
