Don't know much about your actual degree, but a rule of thumb for NZ/British degrees is that Honours degrees are a level seven, and pass degrees are below that. So unless you have an honours, you may not get a seven. Just my opinion.

2 years BA/BSc is at level 6, mine BA (Pass) was at Level 6 Similarly my wife's BSc was also assessed at Level 6.
But after BA that I done one year PGD which was at Level 7, Similarly BS (4 years) or BSc hons (Which I believe is 3 years program) also assessed at Level 7.

Not too sure if you'll get a level 7 with a 2 year BSc pass with no Hons. I have a BSc (Hons) 3 years and only my 3rd year got me a level 7 (1st year level 5, 2nd year level 6 - this is stated on all transcripts of education, provided with your degree - its exactly the same for my sons BSc in a totally different field)

Ok, scrap my last post (couldn't find the edit button),
A nationally recognised level 7 is study passed at masters degree, prostgraduate certificate and postgraduate diploma.

Any Bachelors degree with Honours, graduate certificate and graduate diploma is classed as level 6.

Ordinary (bachelor) degrees and dipolmas of higher education and other higher diplomas are level 5.

By this deffinition your level 5 would be about right, sorry
