Panel Doctors
 

Currently living in the Guildford, Surrey area and note that our nearest centre for the medicals is either Gatwick, Reigate or Croydon areas. Do you have to use the panel doctors on the list or can you go to any other doctor and get the x-rays and medicals done. Will it be accepted by NZ Immigration? Anyone used a non-panel doctor?

Sorry but NZIS will only accept Panel Doctor medicals in the UK.:mad:

You can however shop around for the best price. You can often save a couple of hundred pounds if you are a family, just by going a half hour further than you would normally.:cool: Just check that bloods are included in the doctors price, sometimes they charge seperately :sneaky:

can view/download the Panel Doctor list from www.immigration.govt.nz. On the home page, on left hand side = Forms & Guides - first on list = health forms & guides. Form 1007 panel doctor takes you through to Panel Doctors listed worldwide.

As you are from Derby, I have found a couple off the list which may suit your needs, namely in Stoke-on-Trent and Nottingham but there are numerous others but further away from Derby:

Worth reading the bumf off the website, though. Previous links suggest you ring around and get some quotes as the prices seem to vary. Hope this helps.

Hi

You find the list of panel doctors on the NZ immigration website. Look on the left hand side of the homepage where there is a section saying something like "doctors for medicals". Search for England and there will be a list of doctors and radiologists. Can't help you any more as I'm not at that stage yet, unfortunately!:(
