Default Is an NZQA assessment always required?

Is an NZQA assessment always required when trying to get a job? If a company in NZ thought my qualifications and experience were ok and offered me a job while visiting NZ, would I still be able to get a PR visa even if the NZIS did not recognise my qualifications, but had enough points?
It can all seem confusing sometimes.

Cheers

If you apply for residence under the skilled migrant category and didn't require points for your qualifications then you may be eligible - however, it would be very rare for an applicant to have sufficient points without their qualifications - sometimes work experience may be sufficient - but that will depend on the type of work you are applying for.

Cheers,

No. An NZQA assessment is not required when trying to get a job.

Your qualifications are:-

as such you do not need to get an NZQA assessment.

You may like to contact the EWRB with regards to licensing and also Nick Chandler of Chandler Consulting Limited

He runs the safety courses at NZIS house in London.
