NZQA Assessment
 
Dear All,
I have a query regarding NZ immigration, Points and qualification assessment.
I am holding the degree Masters in arts with 6 years experience as a English Lecturer. My husband qualified, master in Agriculture Science.I am principal applicant and i got overall 7.0 bands in IELTS and my Husband has 5.5. can i claim points against partner qualifications on the basis of such IELTS score.
IELTS score principal applicant=7.0
Non-principal applicant=5.5
please guide.

No.
Your partner MUST have an overall score of 6.5 to claim partner points.

Immigration Points
 
Dear Friends,
I need your guidance regarding points calculations for New Zealand Immigration. Please, calculate points on the behalf of given information and make it clear whether i am eligible or not.
1) Age=31
2) Qualification= Masters in Arts
3) Teaching Experience as a English Lecturer at College= above 6 years.
4) IELTS Score= 7.0 Bands.

Regarding my partner,
Qualifications= Master in Agriculture Science.
IELTS Score= 5.5

Making some guesses as you didn't provide answers to all the points indicator questions I only get 95 points so you REALLY need to take the calculator yourself based on the questions and your circumstances:

Hello Simon, Thank you for your reply. i am still confused about points calculation as qualification Level 9, 10 stand for 60 points for principal applicant. But there would be always error regarding points in case of qualification claiming points. please, help me out.

If you find it confusing then you really need to engage an approved advisor. The answers are all on the NZIS website however if your English isn't good enough to understand their website, yet you rely on being a "Lecturer in English" as your work experience then you may find it a struggle.
