NZ Skills Assessment?

Quick question - does NZ have a skills assessment process like in Aus? Have looked on their website but haven't found any reference to this.

Re: NZ Skills Assessment?

If there is no reference to a 'skills assessment' like Australia's I would guess there isn't a skills assessment. If you look on the New Zealand Immigration Service (NZIS) website there is a points calculator that will give you an idea if you have the basic qualifications, skills and work experience to consider lodging an Expression of Interest.

edit: There is the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) which for a fee will assess your overseas qualifications and translate them into the New Zealand framework.
