Re: NZ immigration for Film Animators(Multimedia Designer-232413)
I need to valuable suggestion from all of you.
We have master degrees are from reputed university that are recommended in Group A list by NZQA and my wife's English proficiency is proven as a principal applicant.
I have a 6+ years experience as a animation film specialist, also directed an animation movie which is about to release. we are scoring 160 point.
But,I have some question in mind before proceeding further.
It is about the Work experience.
My question is that the company in which i was working from Jan2007-Apr2013 is based in India and recently(18Jan2013) domiciled in Ireland(one of the Comparable labor market nations).
My experience letter and other related documents are also on Ireland letter head.
Do they count my full experience for working in a multinational Entity or not.
Please guide me. Can i proceed to apply.
Thanks in advance.

You have listed the qualifications needed to gain bonus points in an area of skills shortage. Are you able to apply for these bonus points? Does your qualification fit exactly with one on the LTSSL? If so, then you can claim points for work experience despite it not being in a comparable labour market.
I saw your post on another thread, you may be in a slightly different situation. I take it you do not need to get your qualifications assessed by NZQA?
Just out of interest, how have you got to your points total? It is very high [assuming you have no job offer] but is just about possible!
What if I do not have a job/job offer?
If you do not have a skilled job or job offer in New Zealand, any work experience you claim points for must have been in a comparable labour market.
We may award points for work experience in countries that are not 'comparable labour markets', but only if you were working:
for a multinational commercial entity domiciled in one of these listed countries, or
in an area of absolute skill shortage.

Thanks a lot for your reply,
Ya, i am scoring 160,
also verified by the one of Licensed
Immigration Adviser
by IAA, Govt. of New Zealand.
if i check off Comparable Labor market option to
"NO"
then still it scores 140
Basically i have two master degrees -one as a distance education and one regular.
The degree that need to be accessed is "Msc in Multimedia" in distance education mode from a private university. i want to use that one for LTTSL qualification.
That's why i am worried about it.
Please advice me more.
Do i have to made PAR assesment?

I get the impression that the degree you need to qualify under the LTSSL will have to be assessed. A PAR is enough to submit an EOI but if your application goes further and you are sent an ITA then you would need it fully assessed [IQA] in order to proceed further.
